Academic Distinctions
I have earned my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Kansas State University. I have taught in various mathematics departments for 25 years at various institutions such as; Kansas University, KS, USA, Qatar University, Doha, Qatar, and Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran. In these institutions, I have thought many courses in undergraduate and graduate levels. My academic positions, various administrations, contributions to the higher education, teaching and being a member of various committees, within twenty-five years, in Kansas State, Qatar and Shiraz Universities giving me more confidence for handling my duties.
Research Abstract
My area of research is dynamical systems in general and chaos theory in specific. Although, these are my main subjects of research area, I do not restrict myself on these topics. Indeed, differential equations, chaos synchronization, fractional differential equations, numerical analysis, mathematical modeling in engineering and health sciences, are other subjects that I am interested in. Working with graduate students, provides more motivation to deal with stronger research aspects. Furthermore, in undertaking research, I always enjoy being involved with a team which generally establishes stronger research activities. I have cooperated with four research teams in Sweden, France, India and Qatar, since 2000.
The consequence of such research activities are more than 90 joined published papers and books that are referred in my vitae.
