Department of Radiation Oncology

Though my interests have been varied over my career (brachytherapy, intraoperative radiation therapy, re-irradiation, hepatobiliary, CNS, etc), in my sunset years, I find myself drawn to palliative care which I feel is an underappreciated area in radiation oncology. In the meantime I continue to support my department's brachytherapy program(s).

Additionally, I have an interest in the arts and humanities, particularly literature and dance. I was awarded an M.A. degree in English from the California State University, Long Beach and have presented a paper and a poster on dance studies topics at national conferences in the past.
