On the latter he has published two articles which have appeared in Romanic Review and in MLN Italian Issue and is currently at work on a third on the theme of "la zona grigia" in Levi's writing. Professor Chiampi received his undergraduate degree from Fordham College and his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Yale University. He is a former fellow of the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa.
